There are many things to consider when you buy a Gaming PC like the RAM, SSD, the storage, the Graphics Card. But once you have decided that, you are faced with one of the hardest choices to make. Which peripherical to use? Gaming or Regular?

And amongst that, you have to choose which mouse to start with? Would a Gaming mouse be a better choice or a regular one?

In this blog, we will be discussing the major differences between Normal Mouse and a Gaming mouse for a new gamer.

DPI/Sensitivity:  One of the main differences you are going to notice between a regular mouse and a gaming mouse is sensitivity. In simple terms, the higher the Dots Per Inch (DPI) of a mouse the more sensitive it tends to be.

Gaming mice tend to be more sensitive as they have higher DPI which gives better performance for the player and steps up the game for them.

Cost: A Gaming Mouse is costly when compared to a regular mouse. One of the main reasons is due to the functionality of the gaming mouse. A gaming mouse provides more functions because of its complexity and the extra buttons.

Macro Keys:  Depending on which model of the gaming mouse you wish you buy, there is probably a chance that there are more buttons on it than a regular mouse which can be customized according to your needs.

Customization: As discussed, having more buttons on a mouse allows you to assign shortcuts to it which helps with the in-game performance of a player.

Design: A gaming mouse is designed in such a way that most of the people buying it buy them for its sleeky look.

Durability: Almost every mouse is made up of the same materials. But gaming mice are designed to last longer than regular mice. Due to the amount of money you invest in them.

If you are looking to get a durable mouse for yourself, then a gaming mouse would be a great choice.

Responsiveness: Another feature that a gaming mouse offers is the responsiveness (polling rate). The polling rate is measured in Hertz and it is a feature not available in a regular mouse.

In my opinion, a new gamer should go for a gaming mouse due to its advantages over a regular mouse. It would help them develop the skill from the beginning and would help them improve their game with other more experienced players.
